Keith, I don't know if you ever get on this board, but, I am also in recovery-15 years clean!  Nov. 11, 1991.  I have to tell you that with all the stress-that is in your life, you hold it together so well.  It is refreshing to see someone not have to lose everything in life before asking for a hand up!  One Day At A Time, and Enjoy Your Life With Nic, A Moment At A Time.  Have You Seen a DVD Called "Secret", it is good stuff for anyone!  Have You Tried XanGo? It is a wonderful, healthful drink, and since you are back to your healthy body, this would be a wonderful inner and outer asset for your health.  I have some, do you want to try it.?

Conversations With God; I have been wanting to read this book, it sounds like you are enjoying it. Would you be willing to give a little detail about it?

Dear Urban,
This book is wonderful, actually there are more than one, there is one, two and three, then there is friendship with God, Communion with God, and a few others.  I have found that these are very hard to explain to people because of the things we have been taught.  They are not about:  Religion, they are not about anyone being better than another-they are not Fiction books, what I can tell you is that for me, I blossomed inside.  They are books to be experienced, it is a wonderful experience that doesn't quit when you have finished reading.  Big Smiles

Your so welcome!  You would start with Book 1-if it seems a little hard to comprehend, read the sentence or paragraph a few times over and over, you will get it-this is due to its simplicity-and we complicate things!  Be patient-re-read, you will know what I am talking about, and it gets better and better-I will check back with you, and if you have any questions you can email me personally at

Thank You for the Congrats, that was so nice.  I am so excited for Keith, he get's to do this whith a new perspective, and I am sure that is going to come out in his music-Like the conversations with God books, My sponsor suggested that I read them, I said, naaa, maybe later, this was in 1991, then my sponsor in 2004 wanted to send me the CD's, so I was waiting for them in the mail, and I was reading an article that Conversations was one of Keiths favorite books, that was 3 wammies for me, so I had to read the books, I had finished 1,2,and 3 and then the Concert came, and I really didn't know much of Keith at that point, but because I read the books, and then seen him-it was so much more intense than anything I had ever experienced.  I had seen a few videos of Keiths songs and really liked them, but the experience of the concert, and what I had read, the music and lyrics to his songs, it is hard to explain.  A friend, about 3 months after this first concert asked me how I liked Keith at the concert, what songs did he sing etc.  I stood there, dumbfounded, because all I remembered was when he came out to sing a song with Katrina Elam, and the rest of the concert seemed a blur, and I don't do drugs or drink!  I remember feeling alot of pain when he sang You'll think of Me, it was like he was right in front of me, and he wasn't, I felt like I left my body just to listen to him and his words went right to my soul, they are real songs, not a bunch of screaming and yelling, something the soul understands, does that make sense?  Anyway, my husband and I have seen him a total of 8 times, and it is such a wonderful thing-I can't imagine living on this planet and missing these experiences, I treasure them, and learn so much.  I have met so many people, because of Keith, I have felt so much because of Keith, I am not obsessed and maybe it would of happened some other way, but I believe that a very important messenger for me has been through Keith and lessons I needed to learn, I heard them because Of Keith.  hmmmm, Good stuff.
