KEITH URBAN WAS A NO SHOW ON CHANNEL 9'S TODAY SHOW THIS MORNING ???  I MIGHT HAVE IT WRONG, BUT I THOUGHT THE PROMO SAID KEITH'S TOUR WOULD BE FEATURED EVERY DAY THIS WEEK ???  MUST BE WRONG I GUESS ... SADLY, NO RHYME NOR REASON WAS GIVEN FOR KU'S ABSENCE IN THEIR PROGRAMMING ...

OF COURSE THERE WHERE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS OTHER THEN KEITH URBAN TO DEAL WITH THIS MORNING ...

DANNI MONOGUE'S BRAZEN ANNOUNCEMENT THAT POVERTY WAS THE REASON FOR HER CHOOSING TO DO THE PLAYBOY SHOOT, AND HER NEED AND LOVE FOR THOSE FAKE BREASTS WHICH OBVIOUSLY HELPED HER BACK ON THE ROAD TO FAME AND FORTUNE ...  

THEN THERE WAS THE MADDEN BROTHERS ... NOT QUITE SURE WHAT THEY OFFERED THE CHANNEL 9 VIEWERS ... I'M STILL SHAKING MY HEAD WONDERING WHY THEY EVEN GOT OUT OF BED  ... OH, THAT'S RIGHT, THEY NEEDED TO PROMOTE THEIR UP AND COMING ALBUM AND PERHAPS A TOUR OF OZ NEXT YEAR ??? BUT THE REAL INTEREST WAS WHAT THEY WHERE DOING ON THE HOME FRONT ... NO TIME TO FIT ANYMORE "URBAN" EXCITEMENT INTO TODAY'S RIVERTING SHOW ...  

THERE'S NO BETTING ON WHAT CHANNEL 9 CAN COME UP WITH TOMORROW, BEING THEY HAVE THE MELBOURNE CUP TO CONTEND WITH ... KEITH URBAN COULD VERY WELL ASK HIMSELF, "AM I FEELING LUCKY?" BECAUSE HE CERTAINLY WOULDN'T BE FEELING THE LOVE.

For what it's worth, I thought the promo said that Keith would be on this week...not necessarily every day this week...but just this week.
I did get excited though when you said he was going to be on every day...thought I must've got it wrong.

I believe he's going to be on tomorrow morning....let's hope!

Every time I come here (not often lately), I end up being SO GLAD I did.
I'll be tuning in 2morra and all week now 2 Today, just in hope.
Do you think the rest of Australia will start to know soon that Keith will be back in the country for another tour?

Caught the show today.  He first came on about 6.20am, then it was repeated at 7.45am.  He spoke back-stage at a gig about his success, family life, Sunday-Rose and Nic.  His face still lights up when he mentions either/both of them.

He will also be on tomorrow (Wed.) I assume in the Richard Wilkins section around 6.20am again.  This will be a different interview than todays - talking about hard times/rehab/marriage etc.

Yeah, you're not wrong there, but I won't apologize for the support of and passion I have for Keith Urban as not only an Aussie, but as one of the few Aussie musicians without peer ...

The music industry and media really do need to get on board to promote Australian made artist, before "the music dies" ... The likes of Eskimo Joe/Bob Evans, Ian Moss/Wes Carr, Guy Sebastian, The McClymonts, Troy Cassar-Daley and the like playing hotel bars, clubs and country entertainment centres and even in foyers for some, to earn a quid, when these artists are sitting in the top 20 of the Australian charts, it makes it all so farcicle ... AND, the question is WHY ??? The likes of the big American stars who hardly need promotion to sell out arena after arena and that's why the American singers and muso's reign supreme here in Oz ... Even Keith Urban with all his success finds it difficult to raise the interest of his Australian Nation ...

Yeah, Colleen - I reckon we all see where ya coming from.

You remember the radio/EMI thing I was going through when you/me first touched-base?  Well, to refresh, radio referred me to EMI, and EMI did not even reply - AT ALL!  

I was just left with nowhere else to go, and to just assume that if radio/promotion/publicity/popularity in Aust. was important to Keith, then he, himself has to choose the right songs to release here.

I'm with you on that, Shirt ... You put in a top effort in trying to get the message through ...

It surprises me with the number of singles released in the USA that don't even make it downunder ... I do understand that some of Keith's songs aren't suited to the Aussie environment, but that would be only a few ...

I can't really put my finger on what the issues may be, but it's more then perculiar ... Why wouldn't Keith Urban want his music playing on radio stations all over Australia or his video releases making their way onto Australian television video programs ...

Keith has just been announced as the 5th highest money earner in Oz entertainment, but it appears there are still restrictions, hurdles and agenda's, perhaps just the politics of the industry, that we don't understand ...

I think for Keith, the Australian Music Industry, especially this year are clearly showing better support for him, with Keith being the opening act at the ARIA's ...

If Keith wins the CMA Entertainer of the Year, which I believe he will and should, that will create a flow on effect for Keith's career, especially here in Australia ... What a fantastic bonus that would be, especially that the CMA's are being aired live into Australia ... Then Keith will arrive home for the ARIA's and his concerts in December ... Channel 9's Today program's interview and promotion this week certainly won't hurt the Urban music train either ...

I was very emotional listening to Keith speak so honestly and from the heart about his new found peace within his life and career ... It seems of late that many of his fans have simply lost their total faith in his musicability and some have climbed right off the KU bandwagon, especially since his marriage ... Perhaps because of the bad influence they believe Nicole has had on the Keith Urban they thought they new and his music that once influenced their lives ... Not so anymore that there is a Mrs Urban in Keith's life ...

I simply don't see Nicole creating anything in Keith's life and career, except positivity ... This was ever so evident in the last couple of days where it now appears Keith has his finger on the pulse of all that is good in his life and health, expressing himself impeccably on that score ...

It bought tears of joy to my eyes and I can tell you it won't take too much to get my emotions overflowing - when December comes around ...

I'M SO VERY PROUD OF THAT MAN !!!
