Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban Using Self-Help Guide 'The Secret'?

The pair referred to as the Aussie power couple, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were spotted out together Oscar night and seemed happier than ever.  The brand new married couple (they wed only last June) hit a rough patch last October when Keith checked himself into the Betty Ford Center for alcohol abuse.  Life & Style Weekly is now reporting that Nicole attributes part of their newfound happiness to the new red hot DVD and book titled 'The Secret.' The magazine reports that Nicole raved recently at a party,   “It’s so smart and simple.  It’s helped me work through a lot of things in my marriage.”

'The Secret'  theory is that the universe will make your wishes come true if you truly believe in them. Its promise is undoubtedly alluring, offering "the secret to unlimited joy, health, money, relationships, love, youth: everything you have ever wanted."  Basically, one has to choose their thoughts to get what they want, the new chic version of positive thinking for positive results.  Wow, that is really simple, though many are skeptical of this new age routine for happiness.

Whatever it is, the couple, both 39, are looking forward and planning their lives together.  Nic recently told Russell Crowe in a Pre-Oscar interview that her and Keith loved living in Nashville where they are planning on buying a farm so she could have a goat, just one goat.  When Russell asked her of future baby plans with Urban, “You’re the worst interviewer,” Kidman joked.  She then revealed, “I hope so.”

It’s obvious these two have a lot of love and respect for each other.  The last few months had thrown up several obstacles for the couple and it appears that they can overcome these obstacles together.  Let’s hope they can keep it up, whatever they are doing is working.
